The community of Brigham City and the citizens of other Northern Utah communities were an integral part of the success of Bushnell. Bushnell was a regional facility for wounded solders from the Mountain States that provided quality medical care to patients. It was also one of the first hospitals to experimentally use penicillin.
It specialized in treating amputations, maxillofacial surgery, neuropsychiatric conditions, and tropical diseases. I think this sounds like one of the most interesting aspects of the game, to be honest with you.Bushnell General Military Hospital was an Army World War II hospital in Brigham City, Utah from August 1942 to June 1946. The thing is, you cannot do this all on your own and you do have to assemble and care for a team of lifesavers to make sure that the wounded have people to care for them. What it means by this is that you are the light of hope for the people on the frontline who need your help. Play a war game that celebrates life not death is one of the tag lines for War Hospital that really captured my attention. You also have to make some pretty hard decisions about if some people are even worth saving! I think having a game set during World War I where there is still destruction and devastation all around, but you are not there with a gun is very interesting. This kind of gameplay is going to be very tense and I am sure that everyone who plays this will learn early on that you cannot save everyone! You have to actually build up your medical facility, getting new equipment, making expansions, and trying to make sure that you have the supplies you need to help people. Rather than using guns to fight the war, War Hospital has you tending to people’s wounds and trying to figure out what the best way to save them will be. Once World War I started, many retired servicemen were called back into action and that is what happened to Henry! Taking place at the French Front, you are there to help soldiers get patched up and hopefully make it back to war or back home to their loved ones. Our main character is a man called, Henry Wells who is a retired combat medic that served in the British army.
The setting for War Hospital is the first world war. It is a great idea and one of the top of my head, I am not sure has been done before.
Instead, you are a doctor, trying to patch people up and help keep the war effort going. You are on the front line and dealing with danger, but you are not a soldier with a gun here or a leader trying to organize an army into battle. I am sure you like me have played many strategy/survival games over the years, but this one is taking a very different approach to things. I have to say that War Hospital is one of the most interesting looking war games of 2022.
